About Brandon Rapose

I'm Brandon Rapose, a licensed health insurance advisor based in Texas. I help individuals, families, and self-employed Texans navigate the ACA marketplace — comparing plans, estimating subsidies, and enrolling in coverage that actually fits their lives and budgets.

Why I do this work

Most people buy health insurance once a year, under pressure, without a clear way to compare what they're actually getting. The marketplace is full of plans that look similar on the surface but are very different when you need them. My job is to cut through that complexity and give you a straight answer.

I work with a lot of Texans who are self-employed, recently laid off, or buying coverage on their own for the first time. These are the situations where the stakes are highest and the guidance is hardest to find. That's where I focus.

How I work with clients

Working with me is completely free. I'm paid by the insurance carriers, so you get the same plan prices you'd find shopping on your own — plus a real person to walk you through the options, check your subsidy eligibility, and make sure you're not leaving money on the table.

I'm licensed by the Texas Department of Insurance and certified to work on the federal marketplace at HealthCare.gov. Texas uses the federal exchange rather than a state-run marketplace, and I know the Texas rating areas, the carriers available in each county, and the plan landscape across the state.
